Cyrus Finegan is a trans artist based in Chicago. Their work focuses on body horror, memory, sexual anxieties, and the background radiation of living in (and through) the American empire. Primarily working with handcut collage, they are interested in the transformation of printed media into found object, exploring the accidental and incidental contradictions revealed when an image is re-contextualized by its inclusion as a page in a mass-printed physical object.
